Sundancer in Nairn is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team.
You will play an important role in leading our waiting team and ensuring our customers receive a friendly, efficient and high-quality service. You will support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day running of the front of house operation and help create a positive, welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the waiting team during service.
- Allocate sections and coordinate staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead by example and provide excellent customer service.
- Welcome customers and ensure they have a positive dining experience.
- Take and serve food and drink orders when required.
- Deal confidently and professionally with customer queries or complaints.
- Ensure tables, the restaurant and front of house areas are clean, tidy and well presented.
- Support with opening and closing duties.
- Help train and coach new members of the waiting team.
- Monitor service standards and ensure company procedures are followed.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management team.
- Assist with stock checks and other operational duties when required.
- Help maintain high standards of food hygiene, health and safety.
- Support the management team in delivering a successful service.
