Job Summary
We are seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for children in a nurturing environment. This role involves engaging children in stimulating activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and fostering their development through positive interactions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about creating a joyful and secure space for children to thrive. Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by maintaining a vigilant environment
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary requirements
- Assist with daily routines such as nap times, diaper changes, and hygiene practices
- Facilitate educational play, reading sessions, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities
- Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized play area and ensure all toys and supplies are safe and sanitized
Experience
- Previous experience caring for young children in a nanny or childcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate activities
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and handle multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm
Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week
