You will be working in the Infrastructure OU in where we are in partnership with National Highways, we’re shaping the future of travel at the A47 Thickthorn junction. Two new free‑flowing slip roads will ease congestion and improve connections between the A47 and A11 — saving commuters and businesses hundreds of hours every week.
We are currently looking for a Sub Agent to join our infrastructure team in Norwich to oversee and ensure successful planning, delivery, and handover of the section of works.
As a Sub Agent, you will:

Manage, supervise and mentor the site team to enable them to perform their duties effectively.

Generate temporary works design briefs, inspect and review designs, and raise technical queries to design teams.

Produce and update lookahead programmes, record and communicate progress, and create detailed plans for your section.

Maintain accurate site records, raise requisitions, ensure compliance with subcontract scopes and identify cost savings in your section.

Generate Inspection and Test Plans and manage material approvals.

Complete Health & Safety inspections and implement courses of action.

Identify and implement environmental awareness opportunities for your section.
We are looking for:

Degree in Civil Engineering or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering.

Knowledge and understanding of construction and contracts.
-
Health & Safety and Environmental Management training (SMSTS).
