Overview
We are seeking experienced SIA Door Supervisors and Security Guards to join our team in Nottingham. The ideal candidates will possess a professional demeanour, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining safety and security at various venues. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, ensuring the safety of staff and visitors alike. All positions are paid, and applicants must hold valid SIA licences.
Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorised access
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security
- Manage crowd control during events or busy periods
- Use CCTV surveillance systems to observe activity and identify potential issues
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft or damage
- Respond promptly to incidents, including providing first aid when necessary
- Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner
- Record detailed incident reports accurately and promptly
- Liaise with emergency services if required and assist with evacuation procedures
Experience
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence is essential
- Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles preferred
- First aid certification is highly desirable
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically
- Prior experience working in busy venues such as clubs, events, or public spaces is advantageous

Pay: £12.71 per hour
