Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 plus alternate Saturdays 08:30 – 12:00

We are now looking for a Parts Advisor to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide variety of parts categories including car, van, LCV, truck, ground care, plant and implements — giving you the chance to build one of the broadest parts skill sets in the trade.

What you’ll be doing
As a Parts Advisor, you will support the day-to-day running of the branch by helping manage stock, process orders and maintain high standards across the stores operation.
Main duties include:
● Undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with the company goods-in process
● Pick customer orders in line with company procedures and make them available for dispatch
● Dispatch outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
● Carry out regular and spot stock takes as required
● Undertake forklift duties where needed
● Ensure all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with health & safety guidelines
● Work with colleagues to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in the workplace
● Ensure all packaging and waste is disposed of in line with company procedures
● Support the wider team with any other duties required for the smooth running of the business
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and keen to build a career in vehicle parts.
Essential
● Good standard of numeracy and literacy
● IT competent and comfortable working with systems
● Good understanding of, and commitment to, safe working practices
● Strong communication skills
● Good time management and ability to work efficiently
● Valid driving licence
● Vehicle parts experience – 2 years (desired)
A strong advantage
● Knowledge of the automotive parts trade
● Experience in a motor factor, parts department, stores or warehouse environment
● Forklift experience
