What you'll do:

Prepare and serve fresh food and drinks while delivering a friendly, welcoming, and professional customer experience.

Support both front and back of house operations, helping ensure the catering service runs smoothly throughout the day.

Assist with food preparation, counter service, hospitality, and vending services as required.

Set up food counters, ensure displays are attractive and well stocked, and promote daily menu offerings.

Operate tills accurately, process customer transactions, and complete end-of-day cashing up procedures.

Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and creating a positive dining experience.

Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation across kitchens, dining areas, and customer spaces.

Complete daily and scheduled cleaning tasks, ensuring all catering areas remain clean, safe, and compliant.

Monitor stock rotation, record food waste, and help minimise waste in line with company procedures.

Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH, and company procedures at all times.

Work closely with the Catering Manager, Head Chef, and wider team to support the successful delivery of catering services.

Support evening, weekend, hospitality, and special event catering when required.
What you'll bring:
-
Previous experience in catering, hospitality, food service, retail, or customer service is desirable.

A passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly and approachable attitude.
-
Experience preparing and serving food in a busy environment.
-
Good understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and safe working practices.
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a positive and professional approach.
-
High standards of personal presentation, hygiene, and attention to detail.
-
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent service standards.

A proactive, flexible, and reliable approach with the willingness to support different areas of the catering operation.
-
Confidence working independently as well as part of a supportive team.
-
A willingness to learn, develop new skills, and participate in training.
-
Food Safety qualifications are desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when required by the business
