Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up sewing machines and preparing fabrics for production
- Support experienced machinists in operating sewing equipment efficiently and safely
- Learn to perform basic sewing tasks, including stitching, hemming, and fabric joining
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards during all stages of production
- Assist with inventory management by organising fabrics, threads, and other materials
- Contribute to team efforts by completing assigned tasks within designated timeframes
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; a strong willingness to learn is required
- Basic knowledge of sewing or familiarity with sewing machines is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
