Summary
Aughton Christ Church C of E Primary School is seeking to recruit a skilled, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant (level 3), with experience of working in EYFS as well as KS1 and KS2, to join our hard-working team. Our staff share a deep commitment to providing a warm, inclusive and ambitious learning environment where all children can thrive, embodying the Christian values throughout all aspects of teaching and learning.
We are looking for the new member of our team to uphold the school vision, ethos and values that we share.
The successful candidate will be responsible to:-
- Safeguard the welfare of our children as in line with school policy.
- Uphold the staff code of conduct at all times.
- Be committed to supporting the schools Christian ethos and values.
- Be committed to demonstrating good time keeping and attendance skills.
- Uphold the school discipline policy.
- Liaise with other staff members within school.
- Carry out any other duties as deemed appropriate to the grade.
- Work calmly in a busy environment.
- To work with the Headteacher in a collaborative way to support the school as outlined in the attached role profile.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 or above qualification (or equivalent) - in exceptional circumstances, where local circumstances dictate, qualifications may be viewed as desirable.
Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy

Essential Experience
- Experience of working with children.
Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment.

Desirable Experience
- Experience of working with children in Reception.
- Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and children with SEND.
- Understanding of developing childrens learning through high quality continuous provision in both the indoor and outdoor learning environment.
Has forest school training or experience.
