Job Summary
Manimu, a handmade pearl jewellery brand, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable freelancers to assist at our new kiosk in the Trafford Centre. This is a fantastic chance to be part of an exciting retail environment and help grow a unique artisan jewellery brand.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them in finding the right piece of pearl jewellery.
- Provide clear information about the jewellery, including materials and design, to help customers make informed decisions.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Keep the kiosk organised and ensure all jewellery is displayed neatly.
- Suggest additional items when appropriate to enhance the customer’s purchase.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow company guidelines for customer communication, maintaining a polite and professional tone.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and stock checks.
Experience
- Attention to detail in maintaining the display and managing stock.
- Outgoing and friendly individuals who enjoy engaging with customers.
- A proactive and sales-driven mindset.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Basic maths skills for processing transactions and managing cash registers.
- Strong organisational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Interest in handmade jewellery and artisan products is a bonus.
- A reference from a previous employer is required. If you are a student, a reference from your university or academic supervisor will be accepted.
