Grill Chef – Weekend Position

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Grill Chef to join our team at Burgo. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll be cooking smashed burgers, chicken, loaded fries and other menu favourites while helping us deliver top-quality food every time.
Whether you’ve worked in a kitchen before or you’re looking to learn, full training will be provided for the right person. A positive attitude, good work ethic and the ability to keep up during busy periods are more important than years of experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Cooking burgers, chicken and other menu items to Burgo’s standards
- Working the grill during busy service periods
- Keeping your section clean, organised and food-safe
- Making sure every order leaves the kitchen looking great
- Helping the rest of the team to keep service running smoothly
- Restocking your station and letting us know when supplies are running low
We’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Can stay calm under pressure
- Has a good attitude and is happy to work as part of a team
- Takes pride in producing quality food
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Previous kitchen experience is a bonus, but it’s not essential as full training will be provided
Hours:
This is a weekend position, with additional shifts available during holidays and busy periods.
