We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team at Perth Airport as a Full-Time Radio Operator through our Radio Operator Sponsorship Programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous aviation experience who is looking to develop a career within airport operations. While previous experience operating an aeronautical radio is not required, applicants should already have some practical knowledge or experience of the aviation environment. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training, mentoring and on-the-job shadowing before progressing into the operational role.

The role
Based at Perth Airport, you will become part of the team responsible for supporting the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the aerodrome. Perth is a busy general aviation and flight training airport, handling an average of around 200 aircraft movements per day, so excellent communication, situational awareness and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment are essential.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday and would suit someone who is reliable, confident and enthusiastic about aviation, with a genuine interest in developing a longer-term career within airport operations.
What we're looking for
Applicants should have some previous aviation experience, whether through flying, flight training, airport operations, ground handling, engineering or another relevant aviation environment. Strong communication skills, professionalism and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy operational team are essential.
