Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various projects within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills and excellent time management. The ideal applicant will possess a proactive approach, exceptional communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure project success from inception to completion.
PVE are seeking a well organised enthusiastic individual to actively manage and coordinate the design and completion of the smoke ventilation systems installed in underground car parks throughout the UK.
Based in our Brighouse office, the successful candidate will be encouraged to engage with the assigned projects from implementation of the indicative design through to achieving full sign off and compliance of the system.
Periodic site visits would be required within the UK, along with liaising with customers and construction site managers to provide a full turnkey system. A knowledge of construction sites, mechanical and electrical experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, procurement, and construction to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through regular updates and clear communication channels.
- Monitor project performance using key metrics; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all project phases.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, milestones achieved, and any issues encountered for senior management review.
- Maintain organised documentation of all project activities, changes, and correspondence for future reference.
Experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects within the civil engineering or construction sectors.
- Experience with Civil 3D for civil design tasks is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to meet strict deadlines without compromising quality.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to civil or construction projects is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Nav or Business Central would be ideal.
