Job Summary
JuniorStrikers is a growing children’s football coaching company delivering fun and engaging sessions for children aged 18 months–6 years.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Football Coach to join our Sunday coaching team in Victoria Park - East London.
The role is Sunday mornings (approximately 9am–1pm), supporting our coaches with delivering sessions, engaging with children and parents, and helping sessions run smoothly.
Please only apply if you can reliably commit to Sunday mornings on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Support coaches during football sessions
- Help set up cones for drills/games during the sessions
- Engage and encourage children throughout activities
- Help with demonstrations and activities
- Assist with setting up and packing away equipment
- Help create a fun, safe and welcoming environment
What we're looking for
- Animated, energetic and playful — being a “big kid” is part of the job!
- Confident and friendly with young children and parents
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to learn and develop as a coach
- Coaching or childcare experience is desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS, or willing to obtain one
- Driving licence and access to a car is desirable but not essential
Pay & Progression
£13–£14 per hour, depending on experience.
Training and uniform will be provided, with opportunities to develop into a Coach/Lead Coach and gain additional hours as JuniorStrikers expands.
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 per week
