As the business continues to grow, we are looking for an organised and motivated Commercial Administrator to support our customer enquiry, quotation and order management processes.
Job Overview
The Commercial Administrator provides support throughout the customer enquiry, quotation and order fulfilment process.
Working closely with customers and internal departments, you will help ensure enquiries are processed efficiently, quotations are prepared accurately, customer information is maintained correctly and orders progress smoothly through the business.
This is a varied role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer enquiries.
- Create, maintain and follow up quotations and sales orders within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Coordinate information between sales, engineering, purchasing and production teams.
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries regarding quotations, orders and deliveries.
- Maintain ERP data, reports, trackers and operational records.
- Assist with delivery documentation and production administration activities.
- Support document control and audit preparation activities where required.
- Monitor data accuracy and identify issues requiring escalation.
- Provide general administrative support across commercial and operational functions.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in an administration, sales support, customer service or order processing role.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional customer-focused approach with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy working environment.
Desirable
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment.
- Experience using ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Experience supporting quotations, costing activities or customer accounts.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Business Administration or relevant vocational qualifications
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
