BHJ UK Ltd is looking for Production Operatives to join the team at their site in Grimsby. BHJ have 24 factories and 16 offices located across 11 countries - processing raw materials into ingredients for the pet food market. They are accredited against the Food Safety Certification 22000 standard, and supply ingredients to big petfood brands. As a Production Operative at BHJ, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing fresh multi species by mincing into tanks and pumping into plate freezers.
- Quality inspection and sampling.
- Labelling and identification of products to ensure traceability.
- Using a forklift to feed raw materials into grinders/mixers.
- Washing dolavs.
- Cleaning plant and machinery between each species.
At BHJ, we are looking for a Production Operative with:
- A Current Forklift Counterbalance license is essential
- Previous experience working in a multi species or similar processing environment(s).
- Fluency in English.
- The right to work in the UK.
Shift available: Monday-Friday – rotating morning and afternoons – 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 8 Hour Shifts – including 30 minutes (paid) break.
