- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical documentation.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control industrial processes.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed to maintain equipment integrity.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Lead maintenance projects, supervise junior team members, and coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance roles within industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and familiarity with schematics.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and mechanical drawings fluently in English.
- Supervising or leadership experience demonstrating the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Good communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration with team members.
