Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant, family owned, restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Pay
- Pay is at minimum wage for your age but is topped up considerably by a generous service charge run by a TRONC system. This is shared 100% amongst team members who worked only.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.
- Provide an experience, nothing short of excellent at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members alike.
