About the Role
CW Lettings is looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our growing team in Darlington.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least two years' experience in residential lettings who is looking to join a forward-thinking agency that genuinely values its people.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing your own portfolio of residential rental properties.
- Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs from initial report through to completion.
- Liaising with contractors and ensuring works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Carrying out routine property inspections and producing detailed reports.
- Managing tenancy renewals, rent reviews and tenancy changes.
- Ensuring all compliance remains up to date, including Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs, EPCs and legal documentation.
- Negotiating deposit deductions at the end of tenancies.
- Handling maintenance enquiries quickly and professionally.
- Building long-term relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
- Working closely with the wider lettings team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in residential property management.
- Strong knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Confident using property management software and Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- ARLA Propertymark qualification (or working towards it).
- Experience using Alto, PayProp or similar property management software.
- Understanding of the Renters' Rights legislation.
