Cleaner – Full Time
Dynex Semiconductor Ltd have been manufacturing semiconductor products for over 60 years, supplying IGBT, Bipolar, Power Assembly and Electric Vehicle System products to customers worldwide. We are committed to growing and developing as a leading, independent manufacturer of high-power, high-reliability electronic components.
We are now looking for a Cleaner to join our Facilities team at our Lincoln site, on a full-time basis.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Works Engineering & Facilities Manager, you will be part of a small, established Facilities team responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic working environment across our manufacturing site.
You will undertake a variety of daily cleaning activities throughout the factory and associated areas, helping to ensure our facilities are maintained to a consistently high standard.

Carrying out planned and routine cleaning activities across the factory and site.

Working effectively as part of the Facilities team to ensure cleaning schedules and standards are maintained.

Emptying, removing and segregating waste in accordance with company procedures.

Safely handling and using cleaning chemicals, materials and machinery within your scope of work.

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and housekeeping at all times.

Complying with Health & Safety requirements, company policies and site procedures.

Reporting any hygiene, maintenance or Health & Safety hazards, defects or concerns to the appropriate manager.

Supporting the wider Facilities team with general duties as required.
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 15:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Friday: 07:30 – 13:00 (no break)
Total: 35.5 hours per week
About You
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and conscientious individual who takes pride in their work and can make a positive contribution to our Facilities team.
You do not need previous experience within the semiconductor industry, as full training will be provided. However, you should have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to work to a consistently high standard.
To be considered, you will ideally have:

Recent experience in a commercial, industrial or similar cleaning role.

Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.

An understanding of Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices.

Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals and equipment and their correct use.

Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

The ability to work independently, use initiative and also contribute positively as part of a team.

A reliable and responsible approach to attendance and work.
