Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Beauty Therapist to operate independently, offering specialised beauty treatments to clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for enhancing clients' appearance, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. This role provides flexibility for self-employment, allowing you to build your own client base while maintaining professional standards. Duties
- Perform customised applications tailored to individual client preferences and occasions
- Deliver a range of standard beauty treatments including skincare, facial therapies, body hair removal and other specialised services
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering expert advice, including aftercare
- Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Manage appointments efficiently via our online booking system, ensuring punctuality and a smooth flow of clients
- Keep up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative treatments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in beauty therapy services (salary range based on experience and number of clients seen while on shift)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent communication skills to understand client requirements and provide professional advice and aftercare
- Organised with the ability to manage appointments independently
- A recognised qualification or certification in beauty therapy or related fields is preferred but not essential if accompanied by relevant experience
- Level 3 qualification preferred but not essential
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building and maintaining a loyal client base
