Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Operative to join our Coatbridge team. This is a full-time, on-site role covering all aspects of warehouse operations, including goods-in, stock control, order dispatch, and preparation of garments for embroidery and print.
This role also includes support for production activities, such as heat pressing and job prep, making it ideal for someone looking to expand their skills within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload and check daily deliveries, ensuring goods match purchase orders
- Book in stock and manage stock levels, including reordering as needed
- Pick, pack, and label orders for dispatch accurately and efficiently
- Prepare garments for embroidery and print processes
- Operate heat press equipment to apply logos and transfers
- Keep internal paperwork aligned with actual stock and flag discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse and production prep area
- Support production by ensuring machines have correct garments and consumables
Location & Hours
- Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm
- Optional paid overtime may be available
- On-site only: Coatbridge, ML5 4EF
- Please note: a full UK driving licence is required due to limited public transport options
Candidate Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (mandatory)
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or stock control
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
- Basic IT skills, including use of stock systems, Excel, and label printers
- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
- Physically fit and confident with manual handling tasks
- Willingness to be trained in garment production processes (e.g. heat press)
