Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Machinist to join our growing production team. The successful candidate will operate woodworking machinery to manufacture doors, frames, and bespoke panel products to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC and traditional woodworking machinery
- Machining doors and frames to specification
- Working from technical drawings and cutting lists
- Ensuring products meet quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Reporting any machinery faults or production issue
Requirements:
- Experience operating woodworking machinery (CNC experience preferred but not essential)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of fire door manufacturing (advantageous)
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
