To work as part of a team in providing high quality play opportunities for primary school aged children. We aim to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and reflective Playworker who will enhance our programme of activities and will be committed to providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
The successful candidate will be working within our 4 out of school care services in the East End of Glasgow.

Hours required: 2.30 - 6pm during term time and up to 35 hours per week between 8am and 6pm during school holiday periods.
Qualifications: SVQ in Playwork SCQF Level 7 / Childcare Learning & Development / HNC or SVQ in Social Services (Children & Young People) is desirable
Relevant experience in Childcare is essential
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in play activities to promote their development and well-being.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment by adhering to childcare regulations and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support early childhood education.
- Collaborate with team members to manage daily operations and address any issues that arise.
