Job Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Front of House team member to join our busy team. You’ll be responsible for welcoming customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling payments and helping to keep the front of house clean and organised.
Please note : Previous hospitality experience is requested. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, good communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable from the moment they walk in
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly recommendations when needed
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations throughout your shift
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and hygiene protocols
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists to optimize guest flow and satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant service or hospitality environments, with a focus on customer care
- Barista experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with coffee preparation and beverage presentation
- Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
