Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and proactive General Operative to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks within our facilities, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Duties
- Assist with the setup and preparation of equipment and materials for production or operational processes
- Support the movement and handling of goods, supplies, or raw materials within the premises
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with loading and unloading lorries or delivery vehicles as required,
- Support the team with general cleaning, organisation, and maintenance tasks to uphold a tidy work environment,
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills relevant to operational dutiesRequirements,
- Previous experience in a similar operative or manual role is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physically fit, capable of lifting moderate loads and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if necessary
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for recording information accurately
