Overview
Premier League Studios is seeking a Junior Motion Designer ready to kick off their career in one of the most exciting creative environments in sports entertainment. Step into the arena of sports design with Premier League Studios’ Creative Department, where ambition, artistry, and elite football competition collide.
You’ll be fearless, imaginative, and deeply passionate about the world’s most competitive and compelling league. Someone who sees motion design as more than just bringing pictures to life, but as storytelling through energy, rhythm, and emotion.
You know your Premier League teams, players, and iconic moments, and you can translate that passion into fresh, dynamic visuals.
Armed with a showreel that shows promise and flair, you’ll collaborate with our wider design team to bring briefs to life across live broadcast, programming, digital platforms, and promo campaigns.
This is your chance to develop your skills under top-tier designers, juggle fast turnarounds with creativity, and play your part in shaping how millions of fans around the world experience the Premier League each week.
Weekend and evening work may be required as well as travel to work with players and clubs across the Premier League.

In November 2024, the Premier League announced it was establishing a new in-house media operations business launching at the start of the 2026/27 Premier League Season. Premier League Studios will be responsible for all international media content production and distribution, providing a best-in-class content service to the Premier League’s partners and millions of passionate fans around the world.

Our hybrid-working model also allows you some variety on your place of work, offering you the chance to work from home on some days each week, where possible. You will be expected to attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.

Be an integral member of the Premier League Studios Design Team, supporting midweight and senior creatives with your enthusiasm, craft, and eye for detail.
- Assist in versioning, clipping, and asset creation, as well as taking ownership of smaller design briefs from concept to completion.
- Bring fresh ideas to the table-actively contribute to brainstorming and inspiration sessions, helping shape the department’s creative direction.
- Create visually engaging Keynote and PowerPoint presentations to showcase our team’s best work across the business.
- Keep a pulse on design trends, tools, and technologies-especially in AI-always exploring how they can enhance the creative process.
- Collaborate with producers, editors, and designers across live, digital, and brand output-every brief is an opportunity to learn and make your mark.

A portfolio or showreel that shines with creativity, design thinking, and promise - whether from College/University, professional work, or passion projects.
- Understanding of football, sports broadcast culture, branding, and current media trends.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with After Effects at the heart of your toolkit.
- A knack for visual storytelling and a drive to find innovative ways to bring ideas to life.
- Adaptability and calm under pressure-tight turnarounds are part of the game.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the confidence to collaborate openly with the team both in person and online.
