Cleaner – Sandcastle Waterpark, Blackpool
Sandcastle Waterpark is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team and help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across our busy Waterpark.
This is an important role within the operation, helping to ensure that our guest areas, toilets, changing areas, showers, back-of-house spaces, external areas, and facilities are clean, safe, welcoming, and well presented throughout the day.
About the Role
As a Cleaner, you will carry out a range of operational and non-operational cleaning duties across the Waterpark. This will include keeping floors, tables, seating areas, toilets, changing areas, showers, staff areas, entrances, and external spaces clean and tidy, as well as replenishing consumables and reporting any hazards, defects, or maintenance concerns.
You will work closely with the Waterpark Senior Team and wider operations team to support the smooth running of the Waterpark and help provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and contractors.
Key Duties

Maintain public, guest-facing, back-of-house, and external areas to a high standard of cleanliness.

Clean toilets, changing areas, showers, tables, seating areas, floors, fixtures, and fittings.

Replenish soap, toilet rolls, hand towels, and other consumables as required.

Use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and materials safely and in line with training and procedures.

Carry out deep-cleaning and scheduled cleaning tasks before, during, or after public opening hours.

Report hazards, spillages, damage, defects, or maintenance issues promptly.

Support the team in keeping the Waterpark safe, clean, tidy, and well presented.
About You
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment. You should be reliable, flexible, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a busy, wet, and public-facing environment.
Previous cleaning experience in a leisure, hospitality, retail, waterpark, or public-facing environment would be helpful, although full training will be provided.
