Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and responsible European Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting temperature-sensitive goods across European routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in logistics.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across designated European routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload temperature-controlled cargo, often requiring heavy lifting and careful handling to preserve product integrity
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and compliance records for each trip
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed, demonstrating physical stamina and attention to detail
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others
- High-spec LWB vans with sleeper cab (renewed every 3 years)
- Flexibility for early/late starts and overnight stays
Experience
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably with delivery driver experience within the European transportation network
- Previous experience using digital tachographs and a good understanding of drivers’ hours and working-time regulations is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, including handling temperature-controlled or specialized vehicles
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify common issues and perform routine checks
- Valid passport (minimum of 12 months remaining)
- Strong UK & European geographical knowledge
- Flexibility for early/late starts and overnight stays

Pay: £130.00-£165.00 per day
