Overview
We are looking for a versatile hospitality professional with experience as a breakfast barista, including latte art, as well as floor service, hosting and events. In this dynamic role, you’ll craft delicious coffee drinks, serve customers with enthusiasm, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your energy and attention to detail will be key in delivering memorable experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including coffee stations, dining and events areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills; process payments efficiently
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and sanitation procedures
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers promptly without sacrificing quality
Requirements
- Previous barista experience with coffee preparation techniques is preferred along with of events
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food and beverages
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory checks
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Capable of standing, walking, and performing light physical tasks for extended periods
- A positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role
Pay: £12.71 per hour
