Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Drug & Alcohol Recovery Project Worker to join our team. In this vital role, you will support individuals on their journey to recovery within a residential setting, providing guidance, care, and structured support to promote lasting change. Your proactive approach will help create a safe, nurturing environment where clients can develop the skills needed for a healthier, substance-free life. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to each resident's needs and recovery goals
- Provide daily support and supervision to residents, encouraging engagement in therapeutic activities and life skills development
- Assist residents with managing their medication schedules and understanding treatment protocols
- Facilitate communication between residents, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor residents’ progress, document changes, and report any concerns or incidents promptly
- Support residents ensuring their well-being within the residential setting
- Maintain accurate records using IT systems for case management, progress notes, care planning, risk assessments, reviews, discharges, etc.
Requirements
- Experience working with people in drug and alcohol recovery or vulnerable populations in a care or support setting
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely within the community
- Strong recovery/support skills and and recovery environments
- Knowledge of creating and updating care plans based on individual assessments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with residents, colleagues, and external agencies
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping, and reporting purposes
- Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed

Pay: £30,000.00-£31,842.00 per year
