Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, lead a team, and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for retail excellence. Duties
- Supervise and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Organise and oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage merchandising displays to optimise product presentation and maximise sales potential
- Provide training and coaching to team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and coordinate replenishment activities
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
- Implement promotional campaigns and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment
- Prepare reports on sales performance, staff attendance, and stock levels for senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and administrative tasks
- Experience in sales management, with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth
- Proficiency in time management to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
- Previous experience in stock control, merchandising, and administrative responsibilities
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexibly including weekends or evenings if required; organisational skills are essential for managing schedules effectively
Pay: £12.21-£15.26 per hour
