Are you an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for a stable, long-term role with a growing company? Do you enjoy being on the road but also like being part of a supportive warehouse team?
At Tindalls Mechanical Services, we're expanding and looking for a reliable, hardworking HGV Driver / Warehouse Operative to become an important part of our friendly team.
This is a varied role combining multi-drop deliveries across London and the South East with warehouse duties when you're not out on the road. As our business and vehicle fleet continue to grow, so do the opportunities for career progression.
What You'll Be Doing
Driving & Deliveries
- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne flatbed vehicle.
- Complete scheduled multi-drop deliveries across London and the South East.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Obtain customer signatures and complete delivery paperwork.
- Deliver excellent customer service at every stop.
- Comply with all DVSA, Road Traffic and Working Time regulations.
Warehouse Duties
- Receive and unload incoming deliveries.
- Check and book stock into inventory.
- Store materials safely and accurately.
- Pick, prepare and load customer orders.
- Assist with stock takes and inventory control.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
- Support continuous improvements to warehouse operations.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Valid Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Good knowledge of London and the surrounding areas

Desirable Skills
It would be advantageous if you have experience in:
- Mechanical Services, HVAC, Plumbing or Building Services
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Warehouse Management Systems
- Sage
- Microsoft Office
