Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure smooth operational flow
- Manage guest relations, addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Oversee reservations, check-ins, and check-outs to guarantee efficient service delivery
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across the premises
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members to uphold service standards
- Handle administrative tasks including reporting, scheduling, and inventory management
- Support the management team in implementing policies and procedures to improve overall guest satisfaction
- Act as the point of contact during shifts, making critical decisions when necessary
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent organisational skills
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to staff management and development
- Experience in hospitality operations, including reservations, front desk management, and customer relations
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
