Looking for more than just another office job? So are we.
Let's be honest...
This isn't an easy job.
Some mornings everything runs like clockwork.
Other mornings a cleaner has called in sick, a customer needs to speak to you urgently, someone needs interviewing, a quotation has to go out before lunch, and there's a problem on site that wasn't there yesterday.
If that sounds exhausting, this probably isn't the role for you.
If it sounds like exactly the sort of challenge you thrive on, we'd love to hear from you.
About Momentum
Momentum Facilities Management is an independently owned commercial cleaning and facilities management company based in Hazlemere, supporting businesses across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties.
We're proud of the reputation we've built for delivering exceptional customer service, looking after our people and doing what we say we'll do.
With over 150 colleagues working across a wide range of customer sites, every day brings something different. We believe in supporting our people, building long-term customer relationships and continually improving the way we work.
As we continue to grow, we're far more interested in finding the right person than the perfect CV.
This Isn't Just Another Office Job
We're not looking for another administrator.
We're looking for someone who wants to become an integral part of our business.
Someone who enjoys responsibility.
Someone who thrives on variety.
Someone who likes making decisions, solving problems and taking ownership.
One day you could be helping recruit a new Area Manager. The next you might be speaking with a customer, supporting a disciplinary meeting, coordinating operational cover, preparing a proposal for a new client, improving one of our internal systems or heading out to one of our customer sites to support an Area Manager and help resolve an operational challenge.
No two days are ever the same—and that's exactly how we like it.
The Opportunity
Working alongside our Managing Director and Operations Manager, you'll become one of the key people who helps keep the business running smoothly.
You'll support our office team, Area Managers, supervisors, cleaners and customers, making sure the hundreds of moving parts within the business come together every single day.
You'll be trusted to make decisions.
You'll solve problems.
You'll lead from the front.
You'll improve systems.
You'll take ownership.
Most importantly, you'll become someone the business can rely on.
This role has been created with the future in mind. We're looking for someone who wants more than just a job—someone who is excited by the opportunity to develop into a key member of our leadership team and become a trusted right-hand person within the business.
What You'll Be Doing
Every day is different, but your responsibilities are likely to include:
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy commercial cleaning and facilities management business.
- Working alongside the Managing Director and Operations Manager to ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Helping coordinate over 150 colleagues working across multiple customer sites.
- Recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new employees.
- Supporting investigations, disciplinary procedures and employment matters.
- Assisting with staff scheduling, holiday planning and operational cover.
- Working closely with Area Managers to maintain consistently high service standards.
- Building strong relationships with customers and confidently resolving issues.
- From time to time, visiting customer sites to support Area Managers, meet with customers and help resolve more complex operational or service issues. You'll be someone we can trust to step in when an experienced management presence is needed.
- Preparing quotations, proposals, contracts and business correspondence.
- Maintaining operational systems, compliance records and documentation.
- Supporting projects that improve efficiency, service delivery and business performance.
- Becoming a trusted point of contact for both staff and customers.
Who We're Looking For
Experience matters.
But attitude, resilience and common sense matter even more.
You'll probably recognise yourself in many of these...
✔ You naturally take ownership and don't wait to be asked.
✔ You remain calm when everyone else is panicking.
✔ You enjoy solving problems rather than talking about them.
✔ You can comfortably juggle ten different priorities without dropping the ball.
✔ You're highly organised and genuinely enjoy making things happen.
✔ You're confident communicating with customers and colleagues at every level.
✔ You're approachable, supportive and empathetic—but you're not afraid to have difficult conversations when they're needed.
✔ You have warmth, integrity and a good sense of humour, but you also have an inner core of steel.
✔ You don't shy away from accountability—you embrace it.
✔ You notice things that others miss and constantly look for better ways of doing things.
✔ You're ambitious and excited by the opportunity to grow into a leadership role.
You don't need to know everything on day one.
We’re not looking for the finished article.
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, prepared to step up, willing to take responsibility and excited by the opportunity to grow into a key leadership role.
If you've got the right mindset, we'll help you develop the rest.
This Role Probably Isn't For You If...
- You prefer routine over variety.
- You avoid making decisions.
- You dislike difficult conversations.
- You need constant direction.
- You'd rather pass problems to someone else than solve them.
- You're looking for a quiet office job with the same routine every day.
We're looking for someone who wants to lead, not simply follow.
Where Could This Role Take You?
This isn't a role where you'll spend the next five years doing exactly the same thing.
We're looking for someone who wants to become a key member of our leadership team.
As you grow in confidence, take on greater responsibility and prove yourself within the business, there will be genuine opportunities to shape the future of Momentum, develop your career and increase your earnings.
We're investing in the right person for the long term.
Why Join Momentum?
We're a friendly, supportive and ambitious business where people genuinely matter.
You'll work directly alongside the Managing Director and become involved in every aspect of running a successful and growing company.
Your ideas will be valued.
Your contribution will make a real difference.
You'll be given responsibility, trusted to make decisions and encouraged to develop.
If you're looking for somewhere you can build a career—not just do a job—you'll fit right in.
What We Value Most
We can teach you our systems.
We can explain our procedures.
We can show you how our business works.
What we can't teach is attitude.
Qualifications can open the door. Character builds careers.
We're looking for someone with integrity, resilience, initiative, common sense and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Someone who sees a problem and starts fixing it.
Someone who cares about getting things right.
Someone who wants to become an indispensable part of our business.

If this sounds like the opportunity you've been waiting for, we'd love to hear from you.
