Due to an increasing portfolio of high-end projects, we are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Site Joiner to join our expanding team.
The Role
As a Site Joiner at Daniel James Group, you will play a critical role in bringing ambitious architectural and interior concepts to life. Working across both commercial sectors (such as offices, hospitality, and retail) and high-end residential properties, you will be responsible for executing high-standard first and second fix joinery, bespoke installations, and fine interior finishes.
While you will be based out of our Manchester hub, this role requires flexibility to travel and work on sites nationwide across the UK as project demands dictate.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake all aspects of site joinery on high-end commercial fit-outs and luxury residential projects.
- Carry out precise first fix and second fix joinery to an exceptional standard.
- Install bespoke furniture, architectural woodwork, doors, skirting, architraves, panelling, and specialised fixtures.
- Interpret complex technical drawings, CAD layouts, and design specifications.
- Work collaboratively with other trades, project managers, and site teams to ensure seamless project delivery on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations on site.
Key Requirements (MUST HAVES)
- Own Van: Essential for this role. You must possess a reliable, roadworthy van suitable for transporting tools and materials to various sites.
- Proven professional experience working as a Site Joiner, ideally within high-end residential and/or commercial fit out sectors.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel and work nationwide across the UK when required (including occasional stays away, subject to project needs).
- Own professional set of hand and power tools.
- High attention to detail, pride in your craftsmanship, and a professional, client facing attitude.
