Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and passionate art teacher to run our after school art club in Chalfont St Peter/ St Giles to enhance the educational experience of children as well as boost confidence.
Enhanced DBS is a must! Please do not apply if you do not possess one.
Times on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays's : 3:30-4:30
Rate - £40-£60 depending on experience and class size
We have availabilty for teachers to teach on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays in Chalfont.
Requirements
-Enhanced DBS (already possess one)
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
-Art portfolio is a bonus
Duties
- Teach various art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Maintain an inventory of art supplies and manage classroom resources effectively.
- Stay updated on current trends in art education and incorporate relevant techniques into teaching.
Experience
- A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in an educational setting is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Proficiency in various artistic techniques and mediums.
- A passion for fostering creativity and encouraging artistic expression among students.
- Experience with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment is beneficial.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £40.00 per hour
