Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Level 2 Swimming Teacher and inspire confidence and skill in swimmers of various ages and abilities! In the role you will deliver engaging, safe, and effective swimming lessons that have lots of water safety and aquatic activity.
Duties
- Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to different skill levels, focusing on technique, safety, and enjoyment
- Assess each swimmer’s abilities and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques, water safety skills, and rescue procedures when necessary
- Maintain a safe pool environment by enforcing safety rules and supervising all participants during lessons
- Communicate progress regularly with students and their guardians, highlighting achievements and areas for growth
- Prepare lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and adapt them based on student needs
- Support the development of beginner to intermediate swimmers by guiding them through skill progression stages
- You will be required to teach parent and baby lessons but training will be provided.
Experience
- Strong understanding of swimming techniques, water safety protocols, and rescue procedures
- Excellent communication skills to motivate learners and clearly demonstrate skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a lively environment
- Previous experience working with diverse age groups is highly desirable
- Certification as a Level 2 Swimming Teacher or equivalent qualification from a recognized governing body is required!
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
