Compliance Officer – Domiciliary Care
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance Officer to join our growing domiciliary care team at Palm2Palm. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the service remains compliant with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality standards, while supporting continuous improvement across the organisation.
This is a varied role combining office-based compliance management with regular community visits to conduct audits, spot checks, and quality assurance reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and health and social care legislation.
- Conduct regular audits of care records, staff files, policies, and operational processes.
- Carry out quality assurance visits, spot checks, and audits within the community to assess care delivery and staff performance.
- Visit service users and care staff in the field to ensure care is delivered safely, effectively, and in line with care plans and company standards.
- Identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective action plans.
- Support the preparation and management of regulatory inspections.
- Monitor incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns, and risk assessments.
- Produce compliance reports and provide recommendations for service improvement.
- Ensure staff training, competencies, and mandatory checks remain up to date.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the service.
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota, shared with other office staff, providing support and guidance to care workers and responding to operational issues as required.
Requirements
- Experience in a compliance, quality assurance, or supervisory role within health and social care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and domiciliary care standards.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and auditing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as regular travel within the community is required.
- Strong IT and report-writing skills.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
