Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining shop organisation, and assisting with sales. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask.
Duties
- approximatly 20 hours + per week plus 1 in 5 Saturdays .
- In our newly refitted Ampthill Shop
- Must be able to start at early - Monday 6.30am - 12.30 , Tuesday , Thursday and Friday 10.30 - 15.30 .
- Provide knowledgeable information about products to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are appealing.
- Process transactions efficiently at the till , training will be provided.
- Other duties to include , food preperation , stock checking , cleaning
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English is required;
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy retail environment.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

Pay: £8.00-£12.80 per hour
