Salary: From £55,000 to £65,000 Sheffield - Depending Upon Experience
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)
THE ROLE
In this role you will lead complex, high-value public procurement activity across the Bank, providing expert commercial advice and delivering compliant procurement processes that support strategic decisions and value for money.
You will shape procurement strategies, lead market engagement and tender activity, provide commercial challenge, manage risk and ensure strong governance throughout the procurement lifecycle. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, helping them navigate complex procurement decisions and identify opportunities for efficiencies, savings and improved ways of working.
You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience of leading complex public procurement exercises, including above-threshold or Find a Tender processes, with strong commercial awareness and a good understanding of public procurement legislation, contracts and supplier relationships.
You will bring excellent communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will be comfortable building strong relationships across a range of stakeholders and supporting colleagues through mentoring and knowledge sharing. Experience of professional services procurement is essential, along with MCIPS or an equivalent relevant procurement or supply chain qualification.
