Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated person to work in our warehouse and to carry out deliveries to our customers. This role involves transporting goods to various locations in the hospitality industry all over London and the home counties. Being part of the warehouse/delivery operations, you will have an eye for detail and ensure timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience in warehouse activities, and excellent communication abilities. Duties
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles while, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver goods to customers efficiently and punctually across designated routes
- Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and update records accordingly
- Organise stock within the warehouse, ensuring items are stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during transit or at the delivery point
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, using a large commercial 3.5t van.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills for liaising with team members and customers
- Organised with good time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- Physically fit to handle long periods of standing, walking, and lifting heavy items
- Knowledge of traffic regulations and safety procedures related to commercial driving

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
