Job description:
We are a fabrication and engineering company located in Andover. We currently have three opportunities for Mechanical fitters / Pipe Fitters to join the team.
You will be working independently whilst carrying out material preparation, assembly work of screwed and bolted pipework, pressure testing, preparation of manufacturing packs, final inspection and certification review.

Requirements of a Mechanical Fitter:
- Hands on mechanical engineering / fitting experience
- Ability to work to engineering drawings
- Installation of threaded pipework.
- Understanding engineering assembly and fabrication drawings.
- Material preparation
- Pressure testing Low/Medium & High pressure
- Inspection

Education & Experience:
- All applicants should hold (but not required) City & Guilds or similar vocational qualifications and have completed an apprenticeship or recognised training in mechanical discipline.
- Relevant experience in a heavy manufacturing facility would be beneficial.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams, to interact with production/maintenance colleagues and managers alike.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to take and respond to direction as required.
- Self-motivated individual who has strong customer focus and can work on one's own initiative.
