Piazza Italiana is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as required.
- Ensure that all waste is disposed of correctly and that recycling protocols are followed.
- Help maintain stock levels of kitchen supplies by reporting shortages to supervisors.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Support the team during busy service periods by assisting where needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is desirable but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
- A basic understanding of food preparation techniques is beneficial for this role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining cleanliness standards.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a fast-paced environment are key attributes for success in this position.
