Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to premises, verifying identification and guest lists to ensure only authorized individuals enter
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to oversee activity within the venue or property
- Respond promptly and effectively to any security concerns or incidents, including managing crowd control when necessary
- Perform thorough searches of visitors and staff to prevent the introduction of prohibited items or substances
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when appropriate
- Provide first aid assistance in case of minor injuries or medical emergencies until professional help arrives
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate documentation
Experience
- Previous experience in security, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and loss prevention strategies is highly advantageous
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling challenging situations confidently and professionally
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact courteously with diverse individuals
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is required prior to employment; ongoing training in first aid and surveillance is a plus
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and respond quickly over extended periods during shifts
