We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our busy administration team.
You will work alongside our Practice Manager and GP Partners to take responsibility for the financial administration within the surgery. You will be highly organised, detail orientated and good with figures, trusted to ensure critical processes such as payroll and payment processing happen effortlessly and efficiently.

Main duties of the job
1) Payroll administration – liaising with managers to complete the monthly payroll submission, performing all payroll administration, acting as a point of contact for any payroll queries
2) Purchase invoices – Administration of invoices, checking details, facilitating payment, reconciliations, basic cost analysis and reporting
3) Sales invoices – Drafting and issuing invoices to 3rd parties, reconciling payments received
4) Funding claims - Supporting the Practice manager with analysis, projections and reconciliations
5) Banking – oversight and management of banking & petty cash
6) Finance reporting – supporting the Practice Manager with analysis; collating data, spotting discrepancies, investigations and associated actions
7) Plus anything else the Management team deem appropriate

Experience
- Payroll Clerk: 1 year (preferred)
- Purchase ledger: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
- Quickbooks (preferred)
- General Practice (preferred)

Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
