About the Role
Bravo2 Fire Protection is seeking a reliable self‑employed joiner with practical fire‑door experience to work alongside our experienced fire‑door joiner. The role involves a mix of remedial works and replacement of damaged or non‑compliant fire‑door frames.
This position offers around 5 months of continuous subcontract work, providing stability and a guaranteed pipeline across multiple sites, with potential for further works thereafter depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a full range of fire‑door works, including:
- Removal and replacement of fire‑door frames
- Upgrading frames to meet compliance requirements
- Remedial works (hinges, closers, seals, adjustments, linear gap seals)
- Repairing or replacing damaged components
- Work alongside an experienced fire‑door joiner
- Follow site safety requirements and maintain a professional standard
- Complete work efficiently and to a high standard
- Travel to various sites across Fife as required
Requirements
- Fully Qualified Joiner with proven fire‑door experience (essential)
- Fire‑door qualifications are not essential, but would be beneficial.
- Competent with remedial works and frame replacements
- CSCS Card
- Self‑employed and able to work under CIS
- Own tools and transport
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- References for recent fire‑door work required.
- Good reliability and communication
- Available to start early September
