Hours
- Various shifts between 6am and midnight, over 7 days
The role of Retail Security Officer:
- Providing a visible uniformed deterrent to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
- Carrying out company policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
- Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
- Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
- Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager
- Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date
- Understanding and implementing fire and safety evacuation procedures
- Assisting with staff and contractor searches if required by the client
- Ensuring the security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
- Conducting yourself in a manner that brings credit to yourself and the company, with SIA licence clearly displayed
The ideal Retail Security Officer:
- Valid SIA licence (essential)
- Aged 18 or over
- Confident communicator and team player
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Tech-savvy enough to use digital devices for admin
