Holiday Inn Derby - Riverlights is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Hotel Night's Team Member to join our Front Office team. This is a Full Time (40 Hours per Week) position offering a salary of £27,255.01 per annum plus benefits. As the face of the hotel during overnight hours, you will provide exceptional guest service, carry out reception duties, complete night audit procedures, and help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all guests. Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
About the job
As a Hotel Night's Team Member, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the hotel during the night. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and excellent service throughout their stay.
Working as part of the Reception team, you will carry out front desk duties, complete nightly administrative procedures, assist guests with requests, and ensure the security and safety of the hotel during your shift.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all guests.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Complete night audit and end-of-day admin procedures.
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
- Ensure reception and public areas remain clean, tidy and presentable.
- Carry out regular security and safety checks throughout the hotel.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents.
- Support other departments as required during overnight operations.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and security at all times.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures and brand standards.
