Youth Worker – SEND Alternative Provision

Elevated Education is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Youth Worker to join our growing Alternative Education Provision in Newmarket.
We support young people aged 10–16, including children with SEND and additional needs, who may have experienced barriers within mainstream education.
Our approach combines education, emotional wellbeing and personal development with engaging activities including sport, fitness, digital media, music, podcasting and employability.
Who We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from someone who:
- Has experience working with SEND children and young people.
- Is passionate about helping young people achieve positive outcomes.
- Can build strong, appropriate relationships with young people.
- Is confident, proactive and able to use their own initiative.
- Can remain calm and work well under pressure.
- Is creative, energetic and works well as part of a team.
- Has an interest or experience in sport, digital media or music.
- Is aligned with the vision and values of Elevated Education.
The Role
You will support young people both 1:1 and in small groups, helping to deliver engaging activities, support emotional wellbeing and encourage confidence, participation and re-engagement with education.
Current hours: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 9am–4pm.
Hours may vary or increase as additional young people join the provision, so some flexibility will be required.

Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
Elevated Education is committed to safeguarding children and young people. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, including the appropriate Children's Barred List check, satisfactory references and safer recruitment checks.

Pay: £16,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
