Secure Alarms has been protecting homes and businesses across Dorset since 1979. We are NSI Gold and BAFE accredited, BSI Kitemark certified and SafeContractor approved, and we install and maintain intruder alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers for commercial and domestic clients. We are not one of the nationals and we do not work like one. Our engineers get local patches, sensible workloads and the time to do the job properly.
We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join the team.
What you will be doing
Installing and commissioning fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, access control and emergency lighting systems across commercial and residential sites. First fix and second fix, containment and cabling, panel programming and handover. Carrying out small works and system upgrades on existing customer sites. Fault finding and testing to make sure everything is compliant and working as it should. Keeping accurate records and certification for every job. Dealing with customers directly on site and representing the company well while you are there.

- At least 3 years' experience installing fire and security systems
- Working knowledge of fire alarm panels, intruder panels, CCTV and access control
- Confident fault finding and testing, able to work to BS standards
- Able to work on your own and manage your day, as well as part of a team

What we offer
Competitive salary based on your experience, workplace bonuses, a company sick pay scheme, and ongoing training and industry qualifications paid for by us. Work van and work mobile provided. Work is local, so you are home most nights, and you will be joining a stable team at a company that has been here over 40 years.
